One of the number one perks of team Madison’s job is getting to chat with the best in the business when it comes to all things makeup related. There’s nothing we love more than nabbing an MUA at a shoot and getting the latest tips and tricks from them over a cuppa. Actually, that’s a lie, we LOVE sharing those tips with our readers.
This time round we grabbed veteran MUA Sue Brophy to discuss how she created the hero look for our latest shoot with #MadisonGirl Frankie Gaff. Sue is is an international hair and makeup artist currently based in Dublin who has worked with household names such as Tatler, SONY, Guinness and NIKE.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Madison Berry Bold Palette
- Jet Black Kohl Pencil
- Small Fluffy Brush x2
Use your jet black khol pencil to heavily tightline your eyes at both top & bottom. Blend the kohl up onto the lids and lower lashline in a feline shape using a small fluffy brush.
While the kohl is still tacky packed eyeshadow shade ‘SCARLET ‘ all over the lid. Then use a clean fluffy brush to blend out the shadow in a feline shape.
Take your small fluffy brush and blend ‘BERRY ‘into the crease of your eye and underneath the lower lashline. This should create a deep berry blend of colour.
Add shade ‘VELVET” to the outer corners of the eyes to add depth.
Next, it’s time to brighten the eyes. Use the shades ‘FIFI’ & ‘MIA’ in the corners to open up the eye.
Further accentuate the eyes using gel liner & either false lashes or mascara.
